In Svanstein you can experience real wilderness and first class Salmon fishing in the Torne River, home of the Baltic Salmon.
Average weight for fly caught salmon here is 12-15 lb. while fish running into the 30-40+ lb. class are not uncommon. Be ready for an adventure hiking, wading and swinging flies in our picturesque water.
Beside salmon the river has a solid stock of Arctic grayling and there’s also some brown trout lurking around in the river. If you don’t want to fish in the main river, we have three smaller rivers that runs into the Torne river. Or in lake nearby
If you prefer lake fishing, there’s lakes surrounding Svanstein, where you find species such as Northern pike, perch, Arctic grayling, Arctic char and trout.
